Well, I'm in Texas (OK, to confess I've been here about 2 weeks...). I'm staying with my friends, John and Karen Fergason. I expected to be in Waco this week, but my furniture and boxes were delayed so they let me stay a bit longer.
In the break (my first non-working vacation since college) we've gone to Sea World twice and I've been teaching math to the 4 year old (OK, playing War and Dominos...).
Please excuse the delay in writing - they are on dial-up and I don't have that much time to stay at at computer. But at my apartment (where I'll be starting tomorrow) I have high speed and will send some accounts of my trip with my mom, my impressions of texas and some pics of my place.
