On Monday I put on my "Alpha Delta Pi hat" and Jonathan (a friend of mine, who is also one of the Alpha Tau Omega advisors here at Baylor) and I loaded up and headed to Waco "Lions Park" where there was a mixer between the men of his fraternity and the women of my sorority. It was fun. I got to see the girls who I'm getting to know better - and who, without fail, make me smile and even laugh, Amber (the "leadership consultant" who travels to chapters all over our district) was there and so we partnered up for golf. We created a "non-student team" consisting of Amber, Jonathan and I, and proceeded to STINK at mini-golf. I'm not sure why we were so bad... but we were. Here are some photos to commemorate. Jonathan is notably missing... because he had to leave to go play "D team" flag football for ATO.
First of all - its important to say, I'm not really wearing an ADPi hat... its a hat from the house of blues in Chicago (side note: if you ever get a chance to go to a gospel brunch at any of the HOBs... DO IT!). Here I am (above) with Shannon and Elise.
From L to R: Bethany, Courtney, me and Kristen (Kristen is the current Membership Ed. vice president, so I will be working with her in my role as Memb. Ed. advisor)
This is Courtney - she is the Chaplain and we meet together weekly in my role at graduate assistant for student organization chaplains. We've had a great time getting to know each other!
Here are some mini-golfing ADPis. :)
Amber and I after our two rounds of golf... it was pretty hot that evening, but somehow Amber still manages to look fresh and cool. I think its because she is a southern belle (from South Carolina).
