late (and brief) update

To all my faithful friends and family who noticed that I did not put up a Wed update this week: thanks for noticing and I'm sorry.

This update will not suffice, though it will include some bullet points that may be of interest to you:
* trip to Greenville was great, saw lots of people, was sleep deprived but relationally full. I love the people there. It really does feel like home. Thanks g-villers for the great welcome back.
* still sick. thought i was getting better, but it was a long (Looooong) week with another upcoming and its hard to shake the last dregs of this cold.
* sorority recruitment this last weekend. it was one of my first "real" moments as an advisor (for ADPi) and it was really fun - i got to meet women, encourage others and also get really sore feet, and really tired everything else.
* today I got to help with election preparation for the election of new ADPi officers for next year, very interesting to be behind the scenes as an alum/advisor.
* amazing race - as always... was amazing.
* operation christmas child is great, too - God is faithful and boxes are coming in. I'm not sure we'll make it to 2500, but we'll get a lot.
* had two chaplain's gatherings this week - they were really good and I think those who participated were blessed.
* found out I'm going to Kenya in May of 2007, leading a team of college students. wow.
* my parents were in LA this weekend with two of my aunts and they saw Annette Bening getting her star on the walk of fame. I think that's pretty neat.
* then they went to Laughlin, NV and surprised my grandparents in the casino (my grandpa on Sat. pm at his favorite Keno machine and my grandma the next morning at brunch). I think that's pretty neat too.

I hope you are seeing God's glory and power in your lives. I hope even more that you are seeing his mercy and grace.

I have lots of big papers due in the upcoming weeks, so I will try to update more during study breaks.

In the meantime, as they say: Via con Dios.

Love, Tiff
