Here are some pictures of some of my new friends here. Melissa (dark hair), Lyndsy (blond hair) and Jonathan (well, probably you can tell which one he is). These pics are from our "date night" together on Tuesday. The second for the three of them, the first with me involved. We went to Rosa's Cafe and Tortilla Factory for taco plates all around (they are just $2.99 on Tuesdays, with 3 tacos, rice, beans and 2 tortillas on the side - plus they have a salsa bar) and then went to the Starplex Super Saver Cinema... where on Tuesdays movies are only 50 cents. Yes, you read that right. Granted, the rest of the time they are $1.00 before 6pm or $1.50 after, but still - we had a GREAT time for less than $5 each! WOO HOO! Right now our plan is that we do this on Tuesday nights - at least until classes start on the 23rd. We have a Tuesday night class that goes until 7pm, so I'm hoping we can at least keep the movie part of this deal!
